Meet Dr. Younis
A native son of West Virginia, Dr. John Younis was born and raised in Wheeling. He has been providing outstanding orthodontic care since 1995.
Education & Experience
Dr. Younis earned his undergraduate degree and dental degree from West Virginia University. He completed his master's degree, three-year orthodontic residency, and specialty certification at the University of Pittsburgh.
Before returning to West Virginia, Dr. Younis was an Assistant Professor and Clinical Instructor in the Department of Orthodontics at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine.
To stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in orthodontics, Dr. Younis attends annual orthodontic continuing education and maintains active membership in numerous prestigious professional organizations.

Other Affiliations
Dr. Younis has always been an active supporter of children's education in the Eastern Panhandle. He has served on the Local School Improvement Councils of Shepherdstown Elementary School and Jefferson High School.
He served for seven years on the Shepherd University Board of Governors and sponsored scholarships for the Youth Community Music Program at Shepherd University.
Outside the Office
Dr. Younis and his wife are proud West Virginians who raised two children here in the Eastern Panhandle. Dr. Younis enjoys collecting comic books, reading, and playing with his dogs outside the office. When he is not fixing smiles, he loves to work on fixer-upper projects at home and the office.
